About Us


About Us


Neighbors Fundraising for Neighbors (NF4N) is a charitable organization dedicated to assisting local groups fundraising for families who are experiencing medical challenges.  The organization facilitates the collection of donations through a recordkeeping organization and the distribution of the net proceeds to recipients’ suppliers of medical services and equipment designed to improve their quality of life.

OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Laurie Landy

Laurie is the founder of Special Strides, a therapeutic riding center in Monroe, NJ. Special Strides, founded in 1998, as a 501 C (3) non-profit organization offers a multitude of services for individuals with special needs. Services are provided on her family farm with the partnership of special equines and the combination of the natural environment of the farm and forest. Laurie is also an Occupational Therapist who has previously worked for the Freehold Township Public Schools and JFK Medical Center’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Department.

Diana P. Slisky

Diana is a Special Education Teacher/Child Development Specialist employed by Children’s Specialized Hospital to provide developmental intervention to children ages birth to three in their natural environment. Diana works with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Speech Therapists to implement the best strategies for each child. Previously Diana worked for Hudson Milestones, a NJ based organization dedicated to the care, support and advancement of people with developmental disabilities.

Shmuel Wilhelm

Shmuel is a graduate of the Rabbinical College of America and is the Assistant Rabbi at the Chabad of Greater Mercer County. In 2010, together with his wife, Shmuel founded The Friendship Circle of Greater Mercer County, which provides friendship and support to individuals with special needs.

Most recently, Shmuel has set out to pioneer a second non-profit as an offshoot of The Friendship Circle. Still in development, the goal is to create a volunteer-based organization to support children and adults who are in treatment for chronic illnesses.
